The speakers

Ciao a tutti! My name is Fabrizio and I oversee all of the Tour Directors for EF Go Ahead Tours. I started working with EF as a Tour Director 20 years ago and now work in the Go Ahead office in Rome. My favorite part of my job is creating strong relationships with our Tour Directors. They are more than just people I work with – they are my family. I was born in Latina, Italy (close to Rome) and still live there today. My favorite region in Italy is Lazio (where Rome is located). If I had to live in another country, it would have to be France. I speak 4 languages - including Japanese! In my free time, I enjoy boxing and making homemade tagliatelle. I can’t wait to see you and tell you all about Italy!

Hallo, my name is Katia. I grew up in a small town on the Adriatic Coast in Central Italy and now I live in Rome (where I moved for college) and studied Foreign Languages and Literatures. I started traveling extensively to improve my language skills and lived abroad during my studies to better learn the different cultures and people. I was introduced to EF by a German friend in 1999, and I immediately found out I could make my passion a profession! I love art, History, and nature. Being a Tour Director allows me to share my interests and knowledge with travelers from all over. It’s a daily enriching experience!

Hi! My name is Linda and I am from Italy! I live in Rome but I am originally from beautiful Southern Italy. For me, working at EF is the perfect way of expressing my passion and curiosity for different cultures. I started my EF story as a student with EF Language Travel. Later, I started working in the Rome office for Language Travel until I met the folks from Educational Tours…and it was love at first sight! I love theatre, writing (mostly about food and wine), cooking, fashion and I have a true passion for art and Archaeology. I am a professional interpreter for English and French and a Rome local guide. However, being a Tour Director remains the best way to express my personality! I simply love seeing the world through the eyes of those I tour with and sharing my knowledge with them. Whether you’re interested in Italy, Greece, England or France, I love the world and I am looking forward to exploring it with you!

Hi! My name is Stefania and I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Catania. During my studies, I spent six months at the University of Gent (Belgium), three months in Paris and four months in Australia. Before becoming a TD in 1995, I was a professional synchronized swimmer, taught English in high schools and worked for Alitalia Airlines. I have a passion for sports (artistic gym, skiing), literature, performing arts and I love to cook authentic Sicilian dishes. I have traveled extensively in Europe and my favorite overseas destinations are Australia, Peru, Mexico, USA, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, North Africa, and the Arabian deserts. I love being a Tour Director because it combines my two greatest passions: traveling and teaching. I am always thrilled by the opportunity of introducing others to European culture and I love to awaken my travelers’ curiosity with regard to it.
