Day 1: Travel Day

Dubrovnik2 nights
Day 2: Arrival in Dubrovnik
Included meal: Welcome dinner
Welcome to Croatia! Transfer to your hotel, settle in, and freshen up. Tonight, you’ll get to know your Tour Director and fellow travelers at a welcome dinner, served with beer or wine.
Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik
Included meal: Breakfast
Though its history begins in the 7th century, Dubrovnik looks more like a movie set than an ancient settlement. Epic stone walls, rising above the twinkling waters of the Adriatic, cloister the orange-roofed buildings of the Old Town—and today, you’ll follow a local guide on a tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Look out over the city from a panoramic viewpoint and bask in the sight of the Old Town, its sawtooth shoreline, and Lokrum, a car-free island that doubles as a nature reserve.
- Enter the Franciscan Church and Monastery. Built over the course of centuries—and rebuilt after an earthquake leveled Dubrovnik in 1667—it’s noted for its extensive library of more than 20,000 books, manuscripts, and incunables.
- Visit Dubrovnik Cathedral, a Baroque stunner completed in 1713. Though the current structure dates back to the 18th century, the church was built on the same site as multiple previous cathedrals—the oldest of which rose alongside Dubrovnik itself.
You’ll have two options after your morning tour: hanging back in Dubrovnik and exploring at your leisure, or joining us on an optional excursion to the Konavle Valley. Add the latter to your itinerary, and you’ll follow a visit to the picturesque village of Cavtat with a three-course, farm-to-table lunch at an agriturismo. (And yes, you’ll get to sample their homemade wines and liqueurs!)
Overnight Cruise7 nights
Day 4: Mount Srd cable car & cruise embarkation
Included meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Before embarking on your cruise, head for the Dubrovnik Cable Car. In just about four minutes, you’ll zip from the city proper to the summit of Mount Srd. From this vantage point, you can see the Old Town, Lokrum, and the Adriatic, all radiant in the morning light—take in the view, then explore the mountaintop on your own before catching a cable car back to Dubrovnik.
Afterward, make your way to the docks and board the MV Aquamarin. For the next seven nights, you’ll call this deluxe, 140-foot yacht home; take some time to settle in—perhaps with a nap on the sundeck or a soak in the jacuzzi—before reconvening for an included multi-course dinner, served with beer or wine.
Day 5: Sightseeing tour of Ston, oyster farm & captain’s dinner
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Tasting, Dinner
This morning, head out of Dubrovnik and glide across the Adriatic, pausing en route to plunge into the sea for a refreshing swim. You’ll have the option of partaking in these swim stops each day—whether or not you do, you’ll meet up with your groupmates for an included late-morning lunch.
Soon after, you’ll dock in the village of Slano and make your way onto the narrow Peljesac peninsula for a tour of Ston. Though only home to roughly 2,500 people, its strategic location (as well as its thriving saltworks and shellfish farms) made it invaluable to several powers over the centuries.
- Spot the 14th-century Walls of Ston. Erected around the town and across the narrowest point of the Peljesac, they once ran more than four miles long, protecting the salt pans that helped bankroll the Republic of Ragusa.
- Head to Mali Ston—a (tinier) village linked to Ston by those defensive walls—and meet some local shellfish farmers. Learn about their industry, then slurp fresh oysters harvested by your hosts.
After returning to your ship, take some time to recharge before joining the MV Aquamarin’s captain for an included multi-course dinner, served with beer or wine.
Please note: Each day’s swim stop is weather-dependent.
Day 6: Mljet National Park
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Start this morning like you did the one before: rising with the sun to watch a new day dawn over a sparkling sea, waking with the gentle sway of your sailing ship, or swimming in the Adriatic. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and morning admiring the sights. Once you dig into lunch, get ready and sit tight—you’ll soon be pulling into the day’s port of call.
Sprawling over the western quarter of its namesake island, Mljet National Park encompasses more than 20 square miles of pine forests and lakes. Today, you’ll have free rein to explore how you’d like. Choose to rent a kayak, bike, or scooter to see as much of this astounding nature preserve as possible—or simply amble down the nearest trail and let your curiosity guide you.
Day 7: Sightseeing tour of Korcula
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Sit down to an included lunch as your ship powers through the waves, plying the Adriatic en route to the island of Korcula. As you approach its eponymous town, the green-and-gray mountains of the neighboring Peljesac peninsula creep higher and higher, a welcoming party of monumental proportions. After mooring, head onto the docks, where you’ll meet up with a local guide for a sightseeing tour.
- Walk the streets of Korcula’s Old Town, lovingly dubbed “Little Dubrovnik” due to its Venetian walls, labyrinthine lanes, and orange-tiled roofs. As you trace those medieval fortifications, you’ll learn how, in 1214, Korcula became the first municipality in the world to formally ban slavery.
- Enter the Cathedral of Saint Mark. Built between the 15th and 17th centuries, it rises above all other buildings in the Old Town, drawing visitors to its exquisitely worked facade. Inside, you’ll find an altarpiece painted by Tintoretto, a Renaissance artist whose work would influence El Greco.
Day 8: Vis winery visit & tasting
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Wine tasting
After a morning at sea and an included breakfast and lunch on deck, you’ll drop anchor at Vis, the farthest inhabited island from the Croatian mainland. It also boasts a more famous distinction as a viticultural dynamo: Vineyards occupy about 20% of its arable land, and after transferring ashore, you’ll visit the 150-year-old Lipanovic Winery.
- Tour the vineyards, discovering the nuances of vugava, plavac mali, palarusa, and other indigenous grapes. As you go, you’ll also learn about the Lipanovic family’s history and winemaking heritage.
- Sample wines only found in Croatia alongside a tasting of aperitivi: fish pate, marinated anchovies, local cheeses, and more, served with Lipanovic’s housemade olive oil.
With another day in the books, return to the MV Aquamarin for a restful night in—or stay ashore awhile longer and find dinner in a delightful nook.
Day 9: Bisevo Blue Cave & Hvar
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Just a short sail southwest from Vis lies the rocky island of Bisevo—and carved into its craggy coast hides the Blue Cave. When sunlight hits the mouth of the grotto at the right angle, it glows with neon blue light; this morning, you’ll have the chance to launch from your yacht and see this phenomenon yourself.
Transfer back aboard for an included lunch, then return to the deck for your first glimpse of Hvar. This town, a collection of cream-colored structures splashed over a gently sloping hill, came to prominence as a naval base for the Venetian Empire; today, it bursts with boutiques and a lively social scene.
After docking, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon to yourself. For a helping of history (and an immaculate view), hike up to the Spanish Fortress, or Fortica. Despite its name, Spain never possessed this redoubt: Rather, the Venetians first commissioned it, drawing on Spanish military architecture for the design.
To cap a day of Adriatic adventure with more Croatian wine, tack our excursion to the UNESCO-listed Stari Grad Plain onto your itinerary. Otherwise, enjoy a free evening in Hvar, or return to the MV Aquamarin early for extra shuteye.
Please note: Seeing the glow of the Blue Cave depends on certain environmental factors, and we can’t guarantee that it’ll happen while you’re there. Additionally, this outing is heavily weather-dependent and may be canceled in the event of rough seas.
Day 10: Sightseeing tour of Split & farewell dinner
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Farewell dinner
Croatia’s second city, Split juts into the Adriatic atop its peninsular perch, squeezed between azure waters and the gray karst of Mount Mosor. After an included lunch aboard your ship, make your way into town and let a local guide introduce you to its highlights.
- Walk the halls of the Mestrovic Gallery, an exhibition of drawings, paintings, and sculptures created by the famed Croatian artist. (Even the museum was built according to his original designs.)
- Enter Diocletian’s Palace, a sprawling residence that makes up about half of Split’s Old Town. In ancient times, part of it housed a military garrison; the other belonged to the retired Roman emperor, who dutifully tended to its gardens.
- Spot some defining landmarks of the city’s car-free Old Town. Perhaps the most unexpected: a sphinx, brought to Split by Diocletian in the third century after he suppressed a rebellion in Egypt.
Cap your final full day on tour at a local restaurant, celebrating your trip with a farewell dinner, served with beer or wine.
Please note: Split Port will undergo construction beginning in 2026. If work is ongoing during your departure, the cruise will port in either Trogir or Omis instead.
Flight Home
Day 11: Departure
Included meal: Breakfast (excluding early morning departures)
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, or extend your stay in Split and use it as a launch pad for a trip to the pristine expanse of Krka National Park. (You’ll get more time in the city, too!)
Split extension
With its Venetian and Roman heritage, Split merits more than a day of exploration. That’s where this extension comes in. An extra day in town gives you the freedom to see what you’d like, from the forested slopes of Marjan Hill to the palm tree-lined waterfront of the Riva promenade. An included trip to Krka National Park shows another shimmering side of Croatia’s natural beauty—and if the beach keeps calling, you’ll never be far from the refreshing waters of the Adriatic.
Split2 nights
Day 11: Krka National Park
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Multi-tiered cascades framed by lavender. A Franciscan monastery, perched in solitude atop a river island. Peace imbues every square mile of Krka National Park, and you can surrender yourself to tranquility during this morning’s walking tour.
- Follow a guide down boardwalks and walking trails, listening as they expound on Krka’s unique ecosystem. Keep your eyes peeled and ears open: You might spot endemic fishes darting through crystal waters, pick out the screech of birds of prey piercing the still air, and more.
- Pause for an included two-course lunch and let the park’s serene soundscape serve as a welcome dining companion.
Return to Split in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing on your terms. To stick to an aquatic theme, strike out for the Riva and enjoy a seaside walk (and maybe indulge with a bite at one of the many restaurants that line the promenade).
Day 12: Free day in Split
Included meal: Breakfast
How will you spend your last day in Croatia? You can always stay in Split, visiting highlights like Marjan Hill on your own—or, for an extra dose of Greek, Roman, and Venetian culture, join us on our optional excursion to the harbor town of Trogir.
Whatever you choose, you’ll come together as a group one final time at your hotel this evening for a farewell drink. Toast to memories made and moments shared before retiring for the night.
Flight Home
Day 13: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
