- Ascend to the iconic Castle Hill Lookout for stunning panoramic views that sweep across Townsville's red-roofed skyline, out to Magnetic Island's green peaks, and beyond to the endless blue of the Coral Sea. (At 286 meters, it's just shy of mountain status—but the views? Absolutely summit-worthy.)
- Transfer down to Kissing Point Fortification, where concrete bunkers and gun emplacements tell the story of Townsville's crucial role in defending Australia's northern coast during WWII. Walk through history as your guide shares tales of the soldiers who stood watch over these strategic shores.
- End your morning at Pallarenda Beach, where the gorgeous coastline stretches out in golden sands and swaying palms. Enjoy free time to walk along the water's edge, breathe in the salty air, and soak up the tropical ambiance before continuing to your hotel on the Whitsunday Coast.
