Vietnam is a beautiful country especially Hue and Ho Long Bay. The overnight cruise of the Bay was a once in a lifetime experience - a must see! The people of Cambodia were so welcoming and friendly - always had a smile. All in all a great trip.

The Vietnam and Cambodia tour directors were excellent. The itinerary was well-balanced as three days were spent in each region. If you have a yearning to see Vietnam, this is the tour for you.

Outstanding Experience
02/11/17 by 1st-time traveler Alice Marie
Go Ahead does everything to make the travel experience comfortable and stress free. The tour directors were awesome, they really knew the history and made suggestions for things to do during our free time. Hoang, our guide in Vietnam added an extra touch by introducing us to local snacks and treats.

Is Vietnam a good place to go with family?

While less traditional, taking one of our tours of Vietnam could make for a very unique and exciting family trip. Just be aware that many Vietnam sites highlight war history that could be disturbing for younger travelers. Read about one staffer’s experience taking our Vietnam tour with her mother.

What should I know before I travel to Vietnam?

Before you head off on any tours to Vietnam, you’ll want to learn the difference between U.S. dollars and Vietnamese dong. You’ll need both on a Vietnam trip, as different places only allow certain currencies. For example, Vietnamese dong is more commonly used at local businesses, and U.S. dollars are accepted at larger companies. If you have a choice between paying in dollars or dong, choose dong, as it might be a little cheaper.
