From steady walls to swirling canals, embrace the best of two Adriatic cousins.

Roman colonies. Venetian strongholds. Austrian ports. Kingdoms and republics have all left their mark on this nook of the Mediterranean, and the result is something special—something uniquely Adriatic. The sea will be your ever-present companion as you work your way up the coast, catching cultural similarities in Dubrovnik, Split, Trieste, and more. Add the extension to Florence, and you’ll follow the throughline of the Renaissance all the way to its Tuscan heart.

Your tour package includes

  • 10 nights in handpicked hotels
  • 10 breakfasts, and 4 dinners with beer or wine
  • 1 tasting of oysters and mussels, pulled straight out of the Adriatic
  • 7 sightseeing tours through seaside towns and storied ruins
  • 1 expert Tour Director, your encyclopedia for all things Croatia and Italy
  • 7 local guides, ready to bring each stop to life
  • Private deluxe motor coach for smooth rides along scenic shores
  • Entrances to museums, landmarks, and more—so you can skip the lines

Included highlights

  • Peering out over Dubrovnik’s stone walls and across the roofs of the Old Town
  • Drifting in a boat, listening as Ston’s shellfish farmers share their stories
  • Wandering the opulent halls of Diocletian’s Palace, stepping into scenes from beloved shows and films
  • Stitching together the haunting melodies played by the Adriatic on Zadar’s Sea Organ
  • Settling into a gondola for a float down Venice’s canals on our best-selling excursion
  • Standing in the shadow of the Florence Cathedral (if you add the extension!)

I previously completed this eval, but wanted to add another thing. There was no wifi on the bus. Beautiful bus. Roomy. Clean and comfortable but I think we expect WiFi access.
