    EF Go Ahead Tours currently requires that all tour participants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must have proof of negative results for a COVID-19 test
    taken within 72-hours before departure. These requirements are in addition to any destination requirements listed below due to US Department of State and CDC guidance, the wellbeing of the group, and/or operational feasibility.

    The United States to Israel

    Travelers are required to wear masks in all indoor public places.

    Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrivalNEEDED ON ARRIVAL

    All travelers must take a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival. Travelers must pay for COVID-19 PCR tests required for entry to Israel either on arrival in Israel or before travel.

    Mandatory statement form for Israeli citizens and residents before exiting Israel

    Israeli citizens and residents must fill out the form no later than 24 hours before departure from Israel. Without having submitted the form, boarding will be denied.

    Mandatory health insuranceNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers are required to provide proof of valid health insurance with COVID-19 coverage.

    Mandatory proof of vaccinationNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers are required to have a valid vaccination certificate showing they received the full course of vaccination in Israel, before traveling.

    Mandatory travel authorization form before arrivalNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Foreign travelers are required to have an electronic approval obtained 10-21 days before departure. Travelers with a valid stay permit are required to complete a separate form.

    Proof of negative COVID-19 test results NEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure from the country of origin. A negative COVID-19 test result must be presented in English and have the traveler's passport number on it.

    Mandatory entry form before arrivalNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    International travelers are required to have an electronic approval obtained 24 hours before departure.

    Mandatory proof of vaccination before exiting Israel

    Fully vaccinated travelers who stayed in Israel for more than 72 hours are required to present an Israeli COVID-19 vaccination certificate before departure from Israel.

    Masks are mandatory on public transportation

    Travelers must wear masks on public transportation in the United States. Some states still require the use of masks in public places, please verify the regional requirements before traveling.

    Proof of negative COVID-19 test resultsNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers must have an original printed or electronic negative COVID-19 viral test result (NAAT: RT-PCR, RT-LAMP, TMA, NEAR, HDA, or Antigen: Rapid). The test must be performed no more than 3 days before the first scheduled departure time in the flight itinerary. If a traveler’s flight is at 1 pm on a Friday, the traveler could board with a negative test that was taken any time on the prior Tuesday or after. Test results must include the traveler's full name and at least one other identifier such as date of birth or passport number. The test must also clearly state that the results are "negative," SARS-CoV-2 RNA not detected," SARS-CoV-2 antigen not detected," or "COVID-19 not detected." A test marked "invalid" is not acceptable. This requirement applies to all travelers, including US citizens, residents, and transit travelers, as well as travelers who have been vaccinated. Travelers may use a self-test (sometimes referred to as a home test) that meets the given criteria. Please check the source for more information. Some US states might have more strict rules regarding COVID-19 test types and where they must be administered. Please carefully review the rules before traveling to each state.

    Mandatory travel attestation form NEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers must complete a travel attestation form before arrival. This form will be provided by the airline at check-in.
