EF Go Ahead Tours Announces Portfolio of Canadian World War History Tours

April 12, 2018

TORONTO, CA.

EF Go Ahead Tours has announced its latest portfolio of Canadian World War history tours following the popularity of last year’s Vimy Ridge Centennial Tour. The portfolio of tours is designed to help travelers discover the past and gain a new perspective on the events that took place during the First and Second World Wars.

“Last year, we took travelers on our Vimy Ridge Centennial Tour to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, a monumental battle fought in the First World War and considered one of the most important military milestones of Canada’s national identity,” said Johan Astrom, EF Go Ahead Tours’ Vice President of Canada. “The response to that tour, and the emotional connection that so many of our travelers experienced while standing side by side with nearly 25,000 fellow Canadians memorializing the battle, really reinforced our ambitions to develop a more extensive portfolio of tours that celebrates Canada’s role in some of the events that helped shape history.”

The portfolio of tours includes:

Canada’s Great War Album Tour – On this exclusive tour, 35 travelers will be immersed in the narrative of this historic region by travelling on this specially curated tour, created in partnership with Canada’s History Magazine.
