What you’ll learn
Traveling the world is a gift, but have you ever considered traveling for free? Yes, you heard us right! Join Lauren Gallagher, Director of Group Sales, and fellow Group Coordinator, Carol M., for a deep dive into our Group Coordinator Program, including what it takes to be a successful Group Coordinator and the benefits of organizing a group. You will walk away with a deeper understanding of this unique opportunity within Go Ahead and the steps to get started right away!

The speakers
Lauren has been helping Group Coordinators see the world for nearly 10 years. Before joining the EF team, she had never traveled abroad. Inspired by her colleagues and customers' stories, she caught the travel bug, and has now traveled to over 30 countries. She quickly realized that some of the best parts of travel is not the destination, but the people you’re sharing it with.
Whether it’s your first time abroad or 30th, there is always something new and exciting to learn and experience. Her favorite part of her job is sharing travel with others who also thought is wasn’t possible, and learning from the diverse Group Coordinator community what her next “first” might be.

Hi, my name is Carol and I hail from Columbus, Ohio. Although I had always loved travel, it was my involvement with the Girl Scouts that brought me to the EF/Go Ahead family. After taking the girls, moms, and grandmothers on a great trip to Europe, friends and family wanted in on the fun!
Here we are 15 years later and our group is still traveling together – adding more like-minded adventurers to our posse every year. I could not ask to travel with a better bunch of people – they are kind, giving, respectful, and so much fun. Oh, the stories and memories we have created over the decade!
Being a group coordinator and Ambassador allows me to combine my love of travel with a passion to engage and learn about our fellow travelers. Having many generations travel together has been especially memorable as we have watched kids grow up to be globally-minded adults. We truly have become a family, and for that I will always be grateful!
