Meet Stefania!

Stefania’s passion for language and travel came into being during her academic career at the University of Catania where she studied foreign languages and literature. During her undergraduate studies, Catania spent six months at the University of Gent, three months in Paris, and four months in Australia. Stefania held several professional titles, such as an Alitalia flight attendant, a professional synchronized swimmer, and an English teacher, before finding her niche as a Tour Director with Go Ahead Tours.

Stefania has been an asset to Go Ahead Tours since 1996 and loves that every tour welcomes new people, ideas, and adventure, but always allows her to engage in her two passions; travel and teaching. She has traveled all over Europe but her favorite destinations include Australia, Thailand, India, and Northern Africa.

Stefania speaks Italian, English, French, and Spanish, and is well known for her intellectual curiosity and lively personality. When Stefania isn’t traveling across Asia with Go Ahead Tours, she can be found in the kitchen cooking up delectable Sicilian dishes.
