Day 1 - London
Relax aboard an overnight transatlantic flight to Great Britain.
Day 2 - London
Arrive in London, one of Europe’s oldest capital cities. After clearing customs and collecting your bags, look for the SkyShuttle Transfer desk. They will be providing your transfer to your hotel. The rest of your day is free to unpack, settle in or begin your explorations of London. Meet your fellow travelers at this evening’s included dinner. (B in flight, D)
Day 3 - London
Discover some of London's historical highlights, as a professional local guide leads a sightseeing tour of the British capital. You’ll see the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the gates of St. James’s Palace, where you might glimpse the ceremonial Changing of the Guard (seasonal). This afternoon, join an optional excursion to Windsor Castle, a thousand-year-old royal retreat built by William the Conqueror after the Battle of Hastings. (B)

When traveling by train there may be times when you will have to handle your own luggage, and you’ll find that lightweight luggage provides a distinct advantage.
They will be providing your transfer to your hotel. Most sightseeing is conducted by private motorcoach. For some included visits and optional excursions, be prepared for some more walking through elaborate monuments and museums, with steps. On your Imperial Rome tour on Day 10, there is some mild uneven and rocky terrain while exploring the Forum Romanum.
Clothing & Packing Tips
Light, versatile layers and sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are essential. A lightweight jacket and emergency rainwear are also recommended for your time in London. If you plan to visit an elegant restaurant or attend the opera or theater, you should bring a more formal outfit. Also, remember that it is preferable to cover your legs and shoulders when visiting churches or other religious sites. Entrance may be denied on the basis of bare legs and shoulders.
