Evening in Paris - Day 3

Evening w/ dinner (5 hours) - $99 USD

Take in the nighttime allure of the City of Light on a special evening excursion. The event begins with dinner at a local restaurant. After you dine, board a boat cruise along the Seine. As you coast along the river and under Paris’ bridges, you’ll behold the gloriously illuminated monuments of Paris glittering alongside the riverbanks. Please note: The dress code may vary depending your restaurant, and your Tour Director will advise you on what to wear, but shorts and sneakers are likely to be considered inappropriate attire.

Churches of Paris - Day 4

On this excursion, you'll explore three of the Paris' most famous churches: Notre-Dame Cathedral, Église Saint-Sulpice and the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur. Each church tells a fascinating story, and you'll discover how these churches created the Paris we know today on your guided tour. Traditional Galician Dinner - Day 9

Evening w/ dinner (3 hours) - $79 USD

For a true taste of Galicia, opt to join your fellow travelers for a succulent mariscada, or seafood dinner, at a local restaurant in the region’s historic center. Savor the freshest seafood Spain has to offer as you choose from a variety of menu options. The catch of the day may include the following: steamed Galician blue mussels, mariner style cockles and Feira-style octopus, as well as such delights as ‘espalda’-style sea bass or grilled baby squid. Depending on which menu you choose, you may also sample a viera, a scallop savored with a glass of Ribiero, Godello or Albariño, three of the region’s finest white wines.

Lisbon Sightseeing - Day 1

Take a guided tour of Portugal’s capital, a beautiful city accented by the towering presence of the Castelo de São Jorge. Experience Lisbon's rich cultural history as you explore the Belém district, where you'll visit Mosteiro do Jeronimos (Hieronymites Monastery) and nearby Belém Tower. You'll also enjoy a walking tour of the historic Alfama neighborhood.

Fado Dinner & Show - Day 1

Spend your evening at Lisbon tavern listening to fado. Derived from the Latin word fatum—meaning "prophecy" or "fate"—fado is Portugal’s national musical treasure. Fado's traditional theme is “saudade,” a word that doesn't quite translate to English but conveys an overwhelming sense of longing for something lost. Dinner is included during this memorable musical evening.

Sintra - Day 2

The poet Lord Byron called Sintra the most beautiful town in the world. You can decide for yourself on today's half-day excursion to this small city at the base of the Sintra Mountains. Today, Sintra is a popular weekend escape for Lisboetas, but it was once the playground of Portuguese royalty. You'll enjoy a glimpse into the life of Portugal's kings and queens during a tour of Sintra National Palace.
