Passport Information:In order to enter South Africa, U.S. and Canadian citizens need a valid passport.
The expiration date must extend at least six months beyond the date of your return home. If you are not a U.S. or Canadian citizen, you must contact the relevant embassies as soon as possible for your specific entry requirements. Should you choose to obtain a visa upon arrival the following rates apply for U.S. & Canadian citizens:
• United States passport-holders = $50.00 for a single entry visa
• Canadian passport-holders = $50.00
Please note that rates are subject to change at any time and are at the sole discretion of the country visited.
As of October 1, 2011, all travelers visiting South Africa and Zambia will be required to have a yellow fever certificate (unless if in possession of a valid waiver certificate).
