You’ll find that most cuisine in the game lodges reflects the region’s Afrikaaner and British colonial influences.
The quality of meats, vegetables and fruits from the surrounding area’s farmlands is superb. Johannesburg boasts exceptional restaurants featuring French cuisine, South African curries and fresh African fish and game.
Be sure to use bottled water for drinking and even for brushing your teeth, and be sure the bottle is sealed when you receive it. Bottled water is provided on tour each day. Remember also to avoid any drinks served with ice cubes.
