Walking on tour:
Travelers on this tour should be prepared for a higher pace and, therefore, a higher degree of walking than on most of our tours. Most sightseeing is conducted by private motorcoach, but walking tours in Venice, Pompeii, Assisi and Rome are particularly extensive. In Pompeii, Capri (on optional excursion), Siena & San Gimignano (optional excursion) and in Imperial Rome, also be prepared for the following: some uneven terrain, hilly or steep roads, difficult transfers and winding, medieval, cobblestone alleys.
