Kenya's varied landscapes bring varied climates. Western Kenya and the eastern coast are often hot and humid all year while the Rift Valley is temperate and pleasant. The coolest months are July and August, and the warmest months are December through March, with January and February the driest. Most rainfall occurs in the first three weeks of April with less rainfall in October and November.
