Please keep in the mind that not all Egyptian mosques are open to the public. Select mosques are open to the public when services are not in progress. Always remove your shoes before entering any mosque, mausoleum or madrasa. Women must cover their heads and bare arms.
Bargaining in Egypt is a part of life, so take your time and enjoy the process. Remember: you are never obliged to buy anything, and you should never offer a price that you are unwilling to pay.
