Munich is the world capital of beer and beer culture. Day 1 - Munich
Spend a free day in Munich. You may wish to join our optional excursion to Dachau, the site of an infamous World War II concentration camp.

Dachau
Once a typical German village, Dachau served as one of the most notorious Nazi concentration camps during World War II. Today, the camp is a Holocaust memorial museum and serves as a testament to the strength of the human spirit.

Day 2 - Munich
Enjoy free time for a walk in the Englischer Garten or a visit to the BMW museum. Alternatively, join an optional excursion to the Austrian city of Salzburg. See all the city’s highlights, including the birthplace of Mozart and scenery featured in The Sound of Music.

Salzburg
Travel to the charming Austrian city of Salzburg. Visit Salzburg’s Renaissance cathedral and pass through the lovely churchyard of the Franciscans. You’ll see familiar several sights featured in The Sound of Music, as well as the abbey where the real-life Maria von Trapp took her vows. Then stop in Getreidegasse, where you’ll have time to tour the Mozart House. You might also choose to walk through the Mirabell Gardens, the setting for The Sound of Music's "Do Re Mi," on your own.

Day 3 - Munich
A Go Ahead representative escorts you to the airport for departure.
