Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Santiago

After a free morning in Buenos Aires, board your flight to Santiago, Chile’s capital city. With colonial buildings standing side-by-side with ultramodern skyscrapers, Santiago truly is a city of contrasts. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and settle in.

Day 2 - Santiago

Spend today exploring on your own, or opt to head to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar, two resort cities on the Pacific. Begin with a ride up Valparaiso’s hillside for wonderful views. Then explore its port district before taking the coastal highway to Viña del Mar. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through town, then drive past Viña’s flower clock and casino on your way to the famous beaches of Los Lilenes, Salinas, Reñaca and Concón. End the day in Plaza Vergara before returning to Santiago.

Valparaiso & Viña del Mar

Viña del Mar, the "Garden City," is one of Chile’s premier beach resorts, with excellent hotels and shopping. Valparaiso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site immortalized in the works of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, is one of Chile’s most charming and historic ports. Today’s excursion brings you to both towns, beginning with a ride up Valparaiso’s hillside where you'll enjoy breathtaking views. Then, explore the Valparaiso's port before taking the coastal highway to Viña del Mar. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through town, then drive past Viña’s flower clock and casino on your way to the famous beaches of Los Lilenes, Salinas, Reñaca and Concón. End the day in Plaza Vergara before returning to Santiago.

Day 3 - Santiago

Today you’ll set off on a guided tour of the city. Start at Club Hipico, a beautiful horsetrack in the city’s Old Town. Then travel to the Alameda, Santiago’s colorful main avenue and the heart of the city. Stop at the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral and the Pre-Colombian Art Museum. Visit the Central Market and drive up San Cristóbal Hill for incredible views. This evening, join your group for an included Farewell Dinner

Day 4 - Santiago

Enjoy another day at your leisure in Santiago. This evening, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
