Shopping
Ireland
Dublin offers the majority of shopping in Ireland. The two main shopping areas are located on Grafton Street and Henry Street. On both of these streets only foot traffic is allowed.
On Grafton Street you can find trendy shops and designer stores such as Weirs, an exclusive jeweler. Powerscourt Town Center is a small shopping center that is also located in this area. Henry Street hosts department stores such as Arnotts. Nearby is Moore Street, known for the food market there, and O’Connell Street, known as Dublin’s main street, where you can find Eason’s Booksellers and Clery’s Department Store.
Dublin offers several markets including the Blackrock Market, Irish Farmer’s Market and the Temple Bar Book Market. The Blackrock Market is considered Ireland’s best weekend market, open Saturdays, 11:00am–5:30pm, and Sundays, 12:00pm–5:30pm. At this market you can find items from fine art to flea market trinkets.
Wales
Shopping streets in Chester include Bridge Street, Eastgate Street, Northgate Street and Watergate Street. These areas include many great boutiques for picking up clothing or souvenirs. Chester’s The Forum Shopping Center is located on Northgate Street.
England’s Lake District

Scotland
Edinburgh is the best city to shop in Scotland. The Royal Mile is a network of streets that begins at the base of Edinburgh Castle. The Royal mile offers a plethora of trendy boutiques and tourist shops to pick up Scottish souvenirs. Scotland is known for its knitwear, especially cashmere and lambs wool. Other Scottish made products are kilts, bagpipes and shortbread cookies. The majority of department stores can be found on Princes Street with stores such as Marks & Spencers, Frasers and Jenners.
