Gold Treasury Museum This beautiful 19th century building is testament to the gold rush fever that built Melbourne. It was used to store the gold and has also been the office of the Governor General, the Premier, the Treasurer, and the Auditor General. Today it houses the historic gold vaults; however, the Governor General still meets the Executive Council here to sign new legislation.

The Immigration Museum The Immigration Museum explores the stories of real people from all over the world who have migrated to Victoria. Jewish Holocaust Museum The Jewish Holocaust Museum and Research Centre is an institution dedicated to the memory of the six million Jews who were murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators between 1933 and 1945.

The Royal Botanic Gardens Recognized as one of the world’s finest botanic gardens, it houses over 10,000 species and 50,000 individual plants in the 38 hectare gardens, including trees and plants of great cultural value.
