Transportation / Walking on tour
Round-trip flights arrive in Sydney and leave from Auckland (or Nadi on the extension). A flight is also included from Sydney to Christchurch. All other transfers are serviced by private motorcoach.
In your free time, you may wish to explore the locations via public transport. In Sydney, buses run frequently. One of the best ways to see Sydney and the harbor is by ferry. For ferry travel, go to the Circular Quay near the Opera House. Sydney also features a monorail that runs from the city center to Darling Harbor.
Christchurch is easily accessed by bus and is also ideal for cycling.
While in Aukland, transportation by ferry, rail and bus is now connected by the new Britomart interchange, completed in 2003.
