Then board your cruise ship and embark on a journey through the amazing sights of Alaska, including Ketchikan, Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau and the Inside Passage. End your journey with a stop in elegant Victoria, the capital of British Columbia before landing back in Seattle.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Seattle, Washington

Your trip begins with a regularly scheduled flight aboard a major airline to Seattle, Washington. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by a Go Ahead representative and assisted with the transfer to your hotel. This evening, enjoy an included dinner where you will meet your fellow travelers.

Day 2 - Seattle, Washington

This morning, a local expert guide takes you on a guided sightseeing tour of Seattle. See the Seattle Center, the city’s vibrant cultural hub. Here you’ll view the iconic Space Needle, which served as the centerpiece for the 1962 World’s Fair and the Frank Gehry-designed Experience Music Project. Also visit Pioneer Square, Seattle’s first industrial logging center. Then see Chinatown and Pike Place Market, most famous for its seafood-throwing fishmongers. This afternoon, explore Seattle on your own. You might choose to ride the monorail, check out the beautiful and 1960s-flavored U District (home to the University of Washington), or browse the shops and cafés of the Capitol Hill or Queen Anne sections, the heart of Seattle’s creative life.

Day 3 - Cruise

Enjoy a free morning in Seattle. This afternoon, check in at your cruise ship and embark on a journey showcasing the natural beauty of the northwest.

Day 4 - Cruise

Savor a full day at sea, enjoying the ship’s luxurious amenities. Pamper yourself, take a swing at the Golf Driving Net or simply relax on deck and enjoy the spectacular passing scenery.

Day 5 - Cruise

Comprising over one-fifth of the United States’ land mass, the sheer vastness of Alaska is an amazing sight to behold. Your first port of call is Ketchikan, gateway to some of the state’s most sublime scenery and wildlife. The city is the ancestral home of the Tlingit natives, and Ketchikan contains the world’s largest collection of totem poles. You’ll have a full day to explore the city at your leisure or choose from a variety of excursions (offered by Celebrity Cruises), including a trip to nearby Misty Fjords National Monument, a wildlife refuge with towering waterfalls.

Day 6 - Cruise

This morning, cruise through Tracy Arm, a 20-mile fjord, which twists and turns through a granite canyon lined with waterfalls, icebergs and towering mountain peaks. From the deck of your ship, gaze up at the stunning Sawyer Glacier, believed by many to be the bluest and most beautiful of Alaska’s glaciers. This afternoon, sail into the capital city of Juneau, whose history celebrates the Gold Rush of the late 1800s. Historical attractions you might wish to visit include the Alaska State Museum, the Last Chance Mining Museum and St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church. Or you might
opt to go whale watching, visit the salmon hatchery or ride the Mt. Roberts Tramway.

Day 7 - Cruise

Your next port of call is the intimate town of Skagway, the Garden City of Alaska. In 1896, Skagway became a major player in the Alaskan Gold Rush and experienced a huge population surge. You may opt to take a walk down historic Broadway Street—replete with numerous saloons and general
stores—reflects its humble beginnings. In the evening, you’ll cruise through the Inside Passage, a patchwork of waterways stretching along the Southeastern Panhandle, affording spectacular views. View a scenic blend of islets, coves, forested terrain and glacial pools, keeping a close watch for soaring bald eagles and the telltale pectoral fins of humpback and bowhead whales.

Day 8 - Cruise

Spend the day on the open water, cruising through more breathtaking scenery. Watch in awe as untamed wilderness and pristine beauty unfold before your very eyes. Keep an eye out for Humpback, Grey, Minke, Fin and Killer Whales (Orcas). En route to Victoria, take a moment to relax aboard and revel in the serenity of Alaska.

Day 9 - Cruise

Cross into Canada today, arriving this evening in the capital city of Victoria, home to Canada’s mildest climate and its lushest gardens. Walk around the city’s gorgeous and painstakingly restored historic downtown Inner Harbour, enjoy a tea at the Empress Hotel or stroll through Victoria’s many flowering gardens. Butchart Gardens, one of Victoria’s most colorful and fragrant gardens, is known for its original seasonal plantings and displays. For an immediate sense of peace and well-being, stroll past its waterfalls, trees and lakes, and immerse yourself in the wonderful sounds of nature.

Day 10 - Seattle, Washington
