A Trip to Remember

This trip was such a phenomenal experience. It was a trip through Providence College that I went on with a few of my best friends along with a bunch of other people that were soon to become my great friends. We saw all of the greatest sights that Rome and Florence has to offer and our tour guide Chris Morrison was better than fantastic. My most vivid memory was just sitting outside on the front steps of the Pantheon with a half-dozen other people just enjoying our gelato and talking about life and how great it was to sit there in front of the Pantheon (a place we had only learned about in our Development of Western Civilization course). I loved it so much!

Educational and Rewarding Trip---Art & Sights.

First, your staff assisted my husband & me in arranging an excellent pre-trip to Sicily. We landed in Palermo, stayed several nights; Then, in rented vehicle, drove around the island. Picked up hotels as we went, many recommended by Go Ahead staff. Travel included going to as close to the top of Mt. Etna (very cold) as allowed---Exciting and challenging. Then to Toarmina (One beatiful village). From Sicily, we connected with our group in Rome. Action from the first day, and eventually saw all sights and museums on our list. Rome came alive!

The Rome City Stay allowed us to really experience the city, the culture, and the people. From arrival to departure, we didn't have to think about the details - Go Ahead took care of everything. Our trip was, in one word, unforgettable!

Thirteen Obelisks of Rome

Rome is a many layered city. A Roman City Stay is a great way to see the Rome that interests you! There are more obelisks in Rome than there are in Egypt. We were able to see all thirteen. With a little pre trip research, a tour director that was organized and helpful, and good walking shoes, we were off to traverse the seven hills of Rome. An adventure and trip not to be forgotten. All the boring details are taken care of by Go Ahead, the fun part of seeing what we want is left to us. City Stays are the best way to travel.

Rome City Stay Tour was GREAT

Our Rome city stay tour was fabulous! We took two of the optional tours to the Vatican and Ancient Rome, and then explored Rome ourselves the other 5 days. It was PERFECT! We got to see everything we had set our sites on seeing, and we came up with new things we want to see next time. The hotel was very, very nice and in a great location for being able to easily walk most anywhere in Rome. It was exceptionally close to local transporation too. Our tour director was extremely helpful and very, very nice. It was the first time I'd been overseas, but it certainly won't be the last! Thanks Go Ahead Tours for helping make my first overseas trip such a GREAT success!

Roma

Enjoyable trip with friends to see Rome at our pace. Brought my daughter as a last vacation before she finished college and had a great time with her and friends.

Rome Stay Vacation

It was a wonderful opportunity to see much of Rome rather than try to hopscotch around Italy with just a flavor of the cities visited. The one day excursions to Florence and Pompeii were delightful.

I'm not a group tour lover, so this was great. We decided what tours to take advantage of, but the rest of the time was on our own to explore!

ROME HOLIDAY - WONDERFUL

Four ladies in Rome, it was everything we could wish for. Our hotel "The Kolbe” was absolutely the best. It’s located in the ancient forum on a quiet street, centrally located to everything we were interested in. Our tour guide was exceptional! We cannot wait to take another trip with Go Ahead.
