National Park Tour

Wish there was more time at the parks. Need to keep telling everyone to drink a lot of water in the excessive heat and talk more about altitude sickness. So people know what to expect.

Good Introductory trip

Good start in Albq NM. Some 43 people from various places somehow got on the same bus at the same time and went to Santa Fe. How nice to have a place like SFe in the U.S. Next stop on the Mesa Verde. Staying in the Ntl. Park was delightful and visiting the ruins was intriguing. Monument Valley was enchanting! How exciting to take a 'jeep' ride to the interior and be up close to those mystic monoliths. The Hampton in Kayenta was unique as well as the meal presentations by the Navajo. The Grand Canyon was superb. I don't recommend the excursion to Paige, slot canyon, and the glen canyon float. Stay at the canyon and explore! Zion and Bryce warmed my heart. What beautiful scenery. Salt Lake City was interesting and the city tour educational. Then on to Jackson Hole. Spellbinding! While visiting the Teton Visitor Center, a cold front moved in over the range with winds about 50 mph. How dramatic the clouds, mountains, and trees displayed this sudden change. The next day we traveled to Yellowstone where light snow was falling. Travel was no problem. With warm sunshine in the afternoon we explored vernal pools and saw Old Faithful. The late afternoon sun gave us good color at the Yellowstone Falls. The Snake River float excursion was special since the water level was high and fast! We saw geese, an Am.Eagle, moose, and beaver dams. An additional bonus was to float near the Tetons and take more photos. Our last evening was spent at the Bar J Ranch for dinner and entertainment. A nice ending to a wonderful trip.

Great way to see the U.S. Parks

Taking a tour such as the National Parks Tour was a great way to finally see most of the prominent sights with out all the hassle of traveling on your own. The advantage of having a tour guide enhances the value of the trip by providing insight into the history and highlights of the areas visited. Highly recommended !

U.S. National Parks

Had seen nearly all of it before in 1960's on my own. The tour director and bus driver added some nice additional touches. In addition the mix of people was quite good.

Unforgettable sights and sites

We were a large group (43) but our Tour Director and driver were simply the best; the organisation and good humour kept us all happy, involved and on track.

Great value

I think this tour was enhanced many fold by the added events that our tour guide, Stevyn Polk, arranged for at statigic points along the tour route. He is a wonder! I felt I had just completed History 101 all over again. Don't let this guy get away! He made the tour an exceptional experience.

A tour you will remember forever!!

Our tour guide and driver were in a class of their own! Stevyn Polk's organizational skills made this trip a great experience. Can't say enough about his contributions in making the tour so successful. Patrick drove over 2300 miles during the tour. We are 80 years old and enjoyed every minite.

What an experience!!

Everything about this tour went beyond our expectations. Tour guide, Stevyn Polk, was great with a knowledge and enthusiasm that seemed endless. This is a very active tour that covers some of the most breathtaking regions of our country. At times, what we saw left many of us speechless. For example, the ancient dwellings of the Anasazi Indians and ancient Puebloans in Mesa Verde, the splendor of the Grand Canyon, the surreal beauty of Bryce Canyon and, of course, the rugged terrain of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. From arrival in Santa Fe to our departre from Jackson Hole, everything was great. We have kept in contact with several people we met on this superb adventure. I could go on writing for quite some time, but suffice it to say that of all the traveling we have done, this tour remains among the best by far.
