Great but tiring
Great tour but found myself very tired when I returned home. It took me a few days to recover and I am not one to tire easily. Days were very long...too many stops for too long. Farewell dinner in Jackson Hole too informal and rushed. Not enough time to enjoy other travelers' company one last time. Also flight arrangements for me were not good...airport too far from my home. However, the West was wonderful and I am glad that I went on my first GoAhead tour. Adrian (tour Director) and Patrick (bus Driver) were outstanding.

Great way to enjoy and experience our National Parks
a MUST EXPERIENCE
I was in awe the whole trip. The accommodations where very nice and the meals provided were fine. Our tour director, Phil Pesh, was way above most tour guides that I have had. He was very knowledgable and was a pleasure. Also, the driver we had was wonderful. I enjoyed everything but the last night at a cowboy thing. That would be the only thing negative I could say about the whole trip. I would go with Go Ahead Tours again.
Wonderful US Scenery
you need to get rid of the farwell dinner at the bar j. The food was HORRIBLE> everyone on my tour agreed. A farwell dinner should have been with our new friends from the tour and not an extra 650 people at dinner where you couldn't talk to each other.
First Time with Go Ahead Tours
I had a very good experience on this trip. I will definitely look at Go Ahead before planning my next vacation.
Wonderful TRip
First, the tour guide was a great guide. He kept us entertained on the bus with funny srories. He was well informed on all that we were seeing. He made everything run very smoothly. We had a good time with the other people on the tour.We really enjoyed the parks . All the scenery , nature, animals, mountains were amazing. I would recommend to others. In fact , this is one of my favorite trips and the people helped make the trip.
National Parks a must do!
From the minute I and another couple from Chicago, were picked up at the airport we where met by our friendly Tour Director Adrian. We were then introduced to the team we would travel with. I say team because I felt comfortable with the age group and had an immediate positive vibe about this tour. Our Hotel in Santa Fe, as all our lodgings, was very nice. Clean with lots of South West atmosphere; what I expected and what I got. The staff down to the cleaning crew were friendly and helpful. Our Breakfasts were very adequate and some even sumptuous. The group get together dinners were also well planned and coordinated with our daily activity. The driver Patrick was a Pro. He made us feel confident and his driving skills were to be admired. He knew his way around... The optional tours were not for me, but I am able to amuse myself so the horseback riding and the river raft was left to the younger crowd while I amused myself with other interests such as Museums, Galleries even a cable car ride in Jackson Village. I was absolutely happy with the tour.
An Unforgettable Odyssey
Our tour of the national parks of the southwest was the most adventurous, the most interesting, most informative vacation we've ever taken in the U.S., filled with sights and experiences we had only read about or seen on travel shows. Plus, we got to visit 5 states in the heart of our country that we had previously only flown over. Each park was uniquely wondrous and different and etched permanently in our memories. We took hundreds of photos to back up those memories and help us relive the highlights year after year. Jim & Marie Knight
