Not Only Irish Eyes Were Smiling
The tour thru the "40 Shades of Green" brought back fond memories. The west coast of Ireland is a "must see" for everyone. Dublin is especially interesting for those interested in Ireland's wonderful history . Our tour guide, Sean, was well-versed in all areas of Irish culture, history and traditions. And what would a trip to Ireland be without a little bit of rain!
Great Trip
A week in Ireland was great way to see and learn about Ireland. The tour guide was really entertaining and knowledgeable. Everything was planned very well and went smoothly. We had a lot of freedom to do our own thing as well as a lot of scheduled tours and activities.
Trip of my life
Our tour guide was excellent. He shared everything about the country he knew. He showed us amazing sites and was a genuinely kind and friendly man. Sean!!! The countryside was gorgeous and the city was fun. The only disappointment was the Leprachon museum. Everything was beyond expectation. Beautiful country and greeat people and really decent food!!
A week is not enough!
I had a very nice trip with my family. It was a great tour, I just wish we had more time to see all of the places on our itinerary. Our tour guide was great at adding side trips for us, but then it gave people too many choices and made it feel like we might be missing out on something. I liked that we had those options, but then it made some days like a marathon trying to see as much as we could. For me and my younger brother, young professionals, it was fine, but I traveled with my mom and her sister and brother-in-law and they enjoyed the trip, but they definately were tired at the end of every day. Overall, I can't really complain, I could nit pick things, but they weren't enough to ruin my trip. This was the perfect trip for a family on a budget who wants to see as much as they could in just a week.
Ireland was awesome!
Ireland was incredible. The tour was perfect for what we were looking for which was guided with a lot of time to do what we wanted as well. There were some times that we wished we had more time in certain places, but for the most part it was perfectly timed. We met a lot of really nice people on the tour and loved Riki our guide. She was a lot of fun and very educated on the places we visited. It was a slightly rough start to begin with a couple of mishaps with our flight, but once we were there we had a great time.
Galway, Cork, Dublin
Loved my tour. Would change the amount of time in Galway to include another day. I would avoid a night in Cork to just a day visit and spend a night in Adare, which was a nice little rest area we visited. Dublin was wonderful. We landed in Shannon Airport there's a beautiful ""Welcome to Ireland" sign that would have been a perfect photo stop. You should think about stoping there.
Suggestions for you
It would be good to stay in Adair...that was a quaint small town and you would get more of the feel of Ireland. Staying in the large cities does not give you the feel of Ireland that I had imagined. The stops were great but maybe a little more time especially at Blarney Castle would be great.
Week in Ireland
Nice, easy overview of Ireland. Good balance of country and city sights.
awesome trip
really enjoyed the tour , gave you plenty of free time. tours i have been on in the past gives you litle time to explore . you feel hurried.Would do it again tomorrow if I could .
Too much free time not enough touring
Very poor value. There was too much "free time". The sight seeing that had been built into the tour were now optional and the cost was very high.
