This trip was fun, exciting, and everything I could've asked for. The optional trips were fantastic! This is a trip I would take again!

Family Trip to Ireland

We chose this tour because of the pace. We had three generations ranging from us in our 20's to our grandparents in their 60's, including a diabetic and four people who had never traveled abroad. Everyone had a good time, and Cornelius, the tour director, went out of his way to help us enjoy the trip and make special dinner arrangements when necessary. My husband and I were concerned that with our age gaps, not everyone on our trip would get to do what they wanted, but we did. The trip was set up in a way that you could enjoy things together, and then break off and make individual decisions as well. I think we all wanted to spend more time in Dublin. The tour pace was a little more than we expected, but nothing we couldn't enjoy. We really felt like we got to see quite a bit of Ireland. The only downside to our trip was the flight issues we had before the trip, and when I called Go Ahead, they offered to relay the info to our tour director and set up transportation to meet up with our group, but we had to deal with the airline on our own.

Ireland Trip to Galway, Cork & Dublin in July 2012

This was my first goahead tour and I was very pleased with the way the tour was conducted. Our flight over was smooth and once we arrived our tour guide was there to greet us. . He was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited, as well as, entertaining while traveling on the tour bus. Our accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The food was very tasty as well. I did not experience any fear or was put in any dangerous situations while I was in Ireland. I would recommend this trip to anyone who has never traveled to Ireland. The people were very friendly and conversation with the locals was not a problem. I'm sure they enjoyed my southern accent as much as I enjoyed theirs.

Ireland the Great

Can never go wrong in Ireland. So beautiful, green and the people are absolutely the friendliest people around. Just an amazing place to visit.

Good trip

Ireland was beautiful and tour director Cornelius was good. The only downfall of the trip was the location of the hotel in Cork. The hotel, itself was great, but you were so far away from town that you never realized you were in Cork until the next day with a tour and by then you were leaving. Had to dine at hotel or take a long taxi into Cork. Other accommadations were centrally located. Of course, the beauty of Ireland was present everyday along with the showers and cool weather. We did have two days of sun in Dublin. Overall, worth the money. It would not be a trip I would recommend for a person's first trip to Europe.

Galway, Cork & Dublin

This was an experience I will never forget........We toured all the places listed in our package plan...Each day we toured with the eyes of a child seeing things for the very first time...It was incredible and majestic to stand where others did hundreds of years ago..... our guide helped us in chosing well known and favorite places of the residents to eat our meals not listed on our tour...His knowledge of art, culture and history made the tour even better. The driver of our bus was a very skilled and careful driver. Thank you for well made plans.

Great Family Memories

This trip was a great introduction to Ireland. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, the driver very skilled, and everyone in my family had a great time!

Busy trip to Ireland

I very much enjoyed the time in Galway. The castle dinner was disappointing and did not include a tour or authentic meal Cork was an unnecessary overnight. Little to do and lacking charm. The tour director was knowledgable but was always rushing us from place to place. The amount of walking was more than expected. Dublin offered many opportunities and we appreciated the bus driver's flexibility to a special request.

Wonderful Trip

The tour was wonderful. I have recogmended Go Ahead to all my friends. While our husbands stayed behind working, my friend Lupe and I spent a wonderful week in Ireland. Sean our tour guide was excellent. He was informative, knowledgeabel, and helpful. Our driver Dermott was excellent, getting us around comfortabley and with appearance of ease. The sites were magnificent.
