Great London trip; taste of Scotland and Ireland

Great trip to see all that London has to offer, with excellent side trips to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. Outstanding train ride through the English countryside to the very interesting city of Edinburgh. A bit short on time to really see Scotland and Ireland, but a day or two more at each would do it.

Great Cities Trip

Seeing London, Edinburgh, and Dublin was a wonderful cities tour. The guide and hotels were excellent except for the hotel in Dublin which was, as one taxi driver noted, practically in Cork! The optional tours to Stonehenge and Glendalough and Powercourt were exceptional. Thank you Go Ahead.

What more can I say than......AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the flights to the beautiful train ride to Scotland along the North Sea, from Stonehenge, Edinburugh Castle, the Irish Pubs, all the BEAUTIFUL scenery and our unbelievable tour guide, this trip was nothing less than AMAZING. Something I will remember the rest of my life.

Every day offered new experiences and challenges

Ou remarkable tour director, Tom Quinn, said this was one of his favorite tours and we agreed that each day brought new delights; even though each city was crowded and noisy, each of us enjoyed each new discovery, and enjoyed sharing with the others in our group. The optionals , especially Bath and Stonehenge, and Glenalough and Powerscourt, offered a necessary respite from the confusion of the city streets. The hotels were more than we expected; the breakfast buffets were sumptious, and, even with airline glitches, we still were so pleased we enrolled on this tour.

Great Trip to the British Isles

Last July I experienced my first trip to London, Edinburgh, and Dublin and was extremely pleased that I went with Go Ahead Tours! The Tour Director was very imformative and was always there to lend an ear to any problems that may arise. I have a problem with motion sickness on the bus if I don't sit near the front and he made certain that I was always able to be seated in that area. The itinerary was such that I saw so many things from the bus, but was still able to go about on my own or with my travel companion and see more. If I remember correctly, his name was Devon, and he always gave us good directions to places we wanted to go on our own. Everything was taken into consideration to get us to the various modes of transportation to Edinburgh and Dublin without feeling rushed. I loved the trip.

Fantastic Trip - Great Value

Our LED trip was outstanding. The tour director was very organized and kept everyone on track. The bus tours took place in the morning and gave us a quick look at the major attractions, and a quick stop at a couple of them. Then we were left with the rest of the day, plus the entire following day, to ourselves. We took the optional Winsor Castle, which I highly recommend. We also took the optional Irish Cabaret night. That was fun, but not a must. I would definitely recommend GoAhead (and I have). We plan to take another of their tours.
