Loved It

I'am so very glad I went to Egypt.The trip was great. I would recommend two things for travelers take lots of one dollar bills and a flashlight.

Best of Egypt

Every day on this tour was amazing. Could not of had a better group of people and Amr, the tour director/Egyptoligist, made the tour all that more enjoyable. It is unfortuneate the events that happened recently in Egypt, but the people in Egypt were friendly and I hope this does not put off visitors in the future of touring this amazing culture and all the historical sites and wonders of the country.

A Tour that will Take Your Breath Away

From our arrival in Cairo to our departure from Cairo, we always felt cared for, respected, and even protected by a guard whom we thought of as a border collie - rounding us up after each visit. We were in awe of our Egyptologist tour guide, Hisham Elsayad, who, at each and every site, gave us complete histories, read hieroglyiphs, and even told us how to deal with merchants. The Nile cruise offered an opportunity to relax and even interract with other nationalities, in our case, some Brazilians. But the monuments were truly the highlight of this trip, and they can only be seen in Egypt!

Best in many ways

Everything was very well taken care of. My wife and I are in our sixties and we enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Our guide AMR was excellent, a very fine egyptologist who loves his country and is enthousisstic when it comes to describing the riches of his country. We learned a lot and we enjoyed it. It was fun. Egypt is a magnificent country and go ahead tours' scheduling made it easy to appreciate. I must point out that at the end of the tour all participants felt we had shared a great, extraordinary moment together.

Egypt was a trip of a lifetime

As we travelled through Egypt, the Tour Group became our family away from home and we are still in contact. This was our second tour with GoAhead and looking forward to our next tour. The history and people of Egypt were the highlights of our trip. Eygpt & the Nile were a perfect mix of activities and cruising the Nile River was relaxing.

The most exotic trip you will ever go on.

I have traveled all over the world and have waited a long time to visit Egypt. While the opportunity was available in the past, it was all about timing. I wasn't a seasoned traveler yet and somewhat still inexperienced. However, after traveling to over 10 countries, I felt it was time to pursue my life long passion of visiting this exotic country. This tour defied my expectations in every way and left me overwhelmed throughout the entire course of the trip. The temples were painstakingly preserved and the monuments were larger than life. As you walk through them you could still visualize the splendor and extraordinary power and influence this civilization possessed. I can say this with absolute certainty, Egypt truly is the most exotic country to visit. Though I have always enjoyed touring through Western Europe and Asia, Egypt will definitely become a defining moment for any world traveler. I will visit Egypt again, the splendor of this country and rich cultural history have truly left an impression on me.

Incredible trip

This trip was beyond all our expectations. Our guide was very informative. Too many jaw dropping things to recount. Drop the perfume stop. It was the only blight. No lasting scent at very high prices. We were ripped off. Small price for a great trip.

Egypt Tour

This was an excellent trip. Atef, our Tour Director, did a fantastic job describing and explaining all of the fascinating parts of Egyptian history and lore, all with great details ... and a good sense of humor as well. The trip felt a little rushed, but it was necessary in order to see so much. For anyone that has a quest for knowledge and finds Egypt on their bucket list, I highly recommend this trip.
