Magical trip!

Everything was perfect - the accomodations, food and tour guide but best of all the beautiful scenery. Truly jewels of the Alpine.

Jewels of Alpine

I had always wanted to visit Switzerland. The stops in France, Italy, and Liechtenstein, and Munich were a bonus. The hotel in Munich was great; the others were pretty good. One negative - I was traveling with a roommate, not a spouse, and in some of the hotels (not Munich), the room was made up with two single beds pushed together, and we had to pull them apart. Why, when the rooms were pre-assigned and we had requested two singles, weren't the beds set up by the hotel before we arrived? We went on several optional tours and the Munich extension, and all were great.

The Alps

The scenery, the people, the culture, the food, were all fabulous. Most Europeans spoke English. The accomodations were better than average. The tour director did not allow us to miss anything. I`d do it again.

Jewels of the Alpine

It was a very good tour. We liked the sites, food, and the tour guide. We never felt rushed in any way. We had time to explore on our own. The scheduled meals were delicious and the wine added to the meals. We feel that we received a very good trip for the cost.

Beauty In The Alps

Six of us traveled together for the first time. The beauty of the countries we visited kept us in such of state of blissfull happiness, that we couldn't help falling in love with each and every day of our tour. Our guide was someone we would welcome into our homes. The bus driver was both skilled and charming. I felt safe with them. All we had to do was show up and then the fun began and never stopped until the end of the amazing tour.

Touching The Clouds in the Alps

Touching the clouds, that's what it often felt like on this tour of a magical world of mountains, glaciers, pastoral meadows and beautiful lakes. Traveling by boat, cog railway, cable car and bus, we e xperienced a fascinating array of different countries and customs as we visited both charming old towns and sophisticated cities. The Alps truly are the most beautiful mountains I have ever seen.

Dream trip

My husband and I have taken many trips, but this was one of our favorites. Viewing the glaciers from the top of Mont Blanc, exploring King Ludwig's castle, riding a gondola down Mount Pilatus, walking through the gardens at Villa Carlotta and traveling through the mountains by rail on the Bernina Epress were just some of the memories we brought home with us. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Wonderful Trip in the Alps

This tour took in beautiful, quaint, historic sites at a perfect pace. The mountain excursions were exquisite and a must for an "Alps" trip. Our guide was wonderful - always helpful and very informative. We will definitely take other trips through Go Ahead!

Beautiful

The towns were gorgeous with interesting things to see and do. I really enjoyed going to 5 different countries during this trip. The difference in types of foods was a treat.

Jewels of Alpine Europe Tour

The Jewels of Alpine Europe Tour has been one of this best vacation trip I have enjoyed in every aspect. The tour was way beyond my standards that I thought it would be in terms of scenery, hotels, excursions, excellent tour director and wonderful safe driver. I had invited two friend that we had never travel with and was a bit nervous as to how the tour would be and also deliver to their expections. They loved the tour and we had a great time. We were very fortunate to also be a part of a fantastic group of travelers. Shoppers in the crowd a plus. Each and every meal was just great! The special treats were also the little stop we did along the way during our travels. Stopping at a lodge of little village for a break was very accommodating and appreciated. We are looking forward with our next tour with Go Ahead Tours
