I have been to the Swiss,French, Bavarian,Alps and we have our own amazingly beautiful visuals right here in North America. Stunning Mountain's, Glacier's ,and Glacier water Lake's and River's,Water Fall's, all within easy distance to each other.A rugged countyside made fun to travel through with great professional guides who made the trip a pleasure.Vancouver was a big surprise.Knew it was special, but it was way better than expected. Modern, young in adittude, surrounded by water and mountains,a truly great city. All and all, an amazing trip.

Canadian Rockies

It was a really good trip, most everything went according to plan, would have liked a little more time in Calgary. The train was a bit of a disappointment, as we got stuck for a number of hours and delayed getting into Vancouver. When we could move, scenery was beautiful. Meals were very nice and Tour Guide was good. I would recommend this tour.

Majestic Canadian Rockies

This fun-filled adventure allows travelers to experience bustling cities and small town life, the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and a vast variety of colorful rivers, lakes, and stream. This tour was a perfect mix of what the region has to offer. The pace was wonderful, as the correct amount of time was spent at each location. Time was made available for travelers to experience some locations of our own. I would definitely recommend Go Ahead Tours to anyone interested in visiting this region. The tour guide was highly knowledgeable about the area and worked to meet everyone's needs. A great bang for your buck!!

Outstanding

We took this tour in October of 2009 and it was, by far, one of the best North American tours we have experienced. We do not say this lightly since we have been on many tours from the National Parks to the shores of the Great Lakes to the rocky coast of Oregon and the wilds of Alaska.. The scenery was spectacular - literally, jaw dropping. The accomodations were very satisfactory and our guide, David, was knowledgeable and kept us informed. We would do this trip again in a hearbeat. Our congratulations to Go Ahead for such a wonderful tour.

13 days out of the heat

The Canadian Rockies tour was fun filled and action packed, The beauty of the Rockies was breath taking and the chill in the air was so appreciated. People in Canada are just as warm and friendly as those in the South; therefore, interaction with our tour director, Alan and our motor coach driver, Rob was so much fun. Excursions on this trip were some of the best I have ever taken. I highly recommend the rafting trip and the helicopter ride in Banff. In addition, we went zip-lining in Whistler and it was an adventure that I look forward to doing again. Canadian wildlife was everywhere. The food was delicious and so beautifully displayed. My favorite lake was Lake Moraine where the color of the lake was unbelievable. I traveled with my best friend and after viewing pictures my husband has already made me promise to go back with him. No problem with that promise. Thank you Go Ahead for a great vacation!

Magnificent Scenery

We had a wonderful time and travelled with a very nice group of people. The tour guide was lovely and excellent and our bus driver was extremely well-informed about the areas we were visiting--a font of information! The scenery and wildlife in Western Canada was astounding. The train trip was a great interlude and a terrific way to see the backcountry and animals we probably would not have seen otherwise.

one of the best trips to enjoy individual pursuits

Starting at Calgary was less than expected but from there on, the landscapes were fantastic; Banff I believe was everyone's favorite, the orientation bus tour was great & everything was so assessable from our hotel; Really wished we had more time to spend at Lake Louise, possibly a full day; Jasper was a unique gem of a remote location I loved: the Icefields Parkway was outstanding with every overlook offering something a little different & all so beautiful; Having ridden the Mckinnley Explorer in Alaska on a dedicated rail-line, our train experience was good the first day but very frustrating overall; the time in Vancouver was wonderful & the free-time allowed us to head off in so many directions, it is truly one of the best big cities I have ever enjoyed
