fab tour director. great pace and enjoyed seeing the rural landscapes as well as selected big cities. enjoyed the countryside as well as the time in the big cities. we REALLY saw the countries. felt i saw all the countries
Met Expectations
Good trip for those who have NEVER TRAVELED ABROAD
Beautiful Landscapes
There were 44 on the tour which lowered the quality of the tour. Fortunately, every one was prompt so there were no delays. Tour would have improved 100% if there were no more than 25 people which was the expectation.
Dream trip come true
I had dreamed of visiting Ireland and Great Britain, especially Scotland, since an adolescent. We began in Ireland, went to Wales, then the Lakes District of England, and finally Scotland. Ireland started on a perfect note and each subsequent segment kept getting better and better. By the time we made it to Scotland, I wondered how anything could top what we had seen and done, and yet, true to my hope and dream, Scotland was the best yet.
Fantastic trip in the UK and Ireland.
My husband and i were celebrating our 40th anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better way to do it! The whole tour was very informative, thanks to our amazing tour guide, Joel. The hotels were good, especially Rossett Hall and the hotel in The Lake District. We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the Highlands of Scotland. and want to go back and see more. One of the tour group hurt her ankle but was well taken of and helped with taxi's etc.We couldn't have been happier with the experience.
Landscapes of Britain and Ireland
Wonderful! Fantatstic. Tour guide was very knowlegeble and entertaining. All the travellers got along great and we were a group of various ages.
BEST OF CENTRAL EUROPE WAS GREAT!!
Best of Central Europe: Germany, Switzerland, and Austria was my GoAhead trip for 2010 (my 4th as many years) and it was a really good one. We had 46 on the bus, which is the largest one I've been on, but our Tour Director, Lala, as well as our Bus Driver, Mario, did a wonderful job with coordinating, scheduling, transportation, etc., so that everything went very smoothly. One possible exception was when we got to Neuschwanstein and discovered there had been a mud slide; the bus couldn't take us up the mountain, so we walked up! In retrospect, it was a fun experience, even though it seemed difficult at the time. It is an experience that will make this trip stand out. Another personal highlight was our visit to Heidelberg, which is probably one of my favorite places in Germany. All in all it was a wonderful trip; I am already trying to decide where to go next.

3 Generations, Fun For All
Did this trip with my mother & daughter as part of a 3 generation adventure. We all had such a special time & each took away many favorite memories. Mom enjoyed the many beautiful gardens, daughter enjoyed the castles, and I enjoyed it all! We all agreed what made it even better was the great group of new travel friends we met in our tour. Our tour guide,Tim, also was not only extremely knowledgeable & pleasant, but had a great dry wit which kept us all very entertained. I highly recommend this as a great way to see the highlights of Ireland & Britain if you don't have a lot of time to focus on each country. Alas, just leaves me wishing I had about a month to explore more!
Great tour Great director!
My husband and I had such a wonderful time on our tour. The pace was very comfortable and the sites were amazing! Our tour director MADE the tour, he went out of his way to make the trip even more special for us. We had such a great time we can't wait to take another trip!
