Wonderful Trip

I had my doubts about an organized tour, but I ended up really enjoying the experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and engaging. We met some very nice people in our group and will hopefully remain in contact with them! This was a great way to travel to an area for the first time...now if we choose to return, I would feel confident to try it on our own....

Great time!

This was a great trip. I would like to see it be a couple of days longer with more time in Scotland. My highest recommendation goes to Nicky, who was our tour guide for London/Kensington Palace. She was warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. Also, our tour director was great!!

Go Ahead travel is a good tour company

This trip was a good exposure to the countries we visited. There was a lot of free time each day to explore the cities on your own. This gave me time to go to museums and the theatre, which were wonderful. I would like to have more time at each location especially in places like London were there is so much to do and see. The tour director was a lovely man and made any issues go away, which is what you would expect from a leadership position but he did it very well.

Great Vacation

My mother and I had a great time on our Best of England, Ireland and Scotland vacation. The hotel accomodations were comfortable and within easy walking distance of things we wanted to see and do. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a perfect vacation for us.

Fabulous trip!

Go Ahead was very professional with the booking and other services prior and during the trip. The tour guides were the best! It was helpful to have individual guides in some areas such as London who know the area well. The trip was well planned, accommodations and meals included were excellent. Our main tour guide gave us options and added on some sights such as seeing the Queen in her birthday parade, a boat ride, and sheep dog trials which were not in the itinerary. We were given enough free time to explore on our own and no pressure to use certain vendors. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable trip.

Beautiful UK

As the title says "The Best of England, Scotland and Ireland" a good way to see some of the highlights of the three countries. The guides are so informative and go out of their way to make it a wonderful experience. Their knowledge of the area and experience traveling really make a difference when the unexpected happens, like delayed trains, road closures and the like. Our guide was on top of everything! A great experience!

THIS TRIP TRIO ROCKS!!!

This vacation was a once in a lifetime trip. Our tour guide was amazing! The sites were even more breathtaking and our group was the best of the best. I can not say enough nice things about this journey. Highly recommend.

Best of England, Scotland & Ireland

Our first experience with GoAhead was great. Our guides were very knowledgable, informative, and the directions & expectations were always stated clearly. We had time for our own exploration. Although this was a busy trip with much packing and unpacking, I enjoyed it and learned more than I imagined. Our guide, Mansel David was not only very knowledgable about the places but also the culture and history. He had many interesting side lines to share, poems and songs, had a good sense of humor and was especially good with handling 44 very different personalities. He informed us of the best places to eat and shop when we came into a new area. I'm very pleased with my first tour abroad and can't wait for the next one and soon, I hope!

An Eye-ful & Ear-ful of History, fun and Landscape

This trip has a combination of fun, knowledge, challenges of the weather and beautiful landscape. The GoAhead Tours has provided us a Post Grad in Edu - Mr. Tim Goddard as our tour director. He is full of knowledge and wit, very pleasant, personal and he goes the third mile in tending to his 44-people huge group. The group is made up of junior high, high schooner, fresh college grad all the way to grandparents. He did an amazingly outstanding job that makes our trip very smooth and super memorable. Tour needs some tweeking

I was very excited about taking this tour. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. There was not enough time devoted to Scotland. The train trip to Scotland was long and uncomfortable. The train was very crowded and we had to wrestle our own cases when we got to Edinburgh. The Hotel in Edinburgh was not very good. The room smelled musty and the breakfast menu was not very good. The amount of time spent on the coach seemed endless at times. More walking would have been better for me.
