Our Fabulous Tour

I looked into this trip in great detail, going over what several companies had to offer. The choice came down to two companies, Go-Ahead and another company. It was a no brainer as Go-Ahead was considerably cheaper, about 45% cheaper. When we got to Australia our guide was Victor. If you ever get the chance try and get him. He was amazing--looking after all of us with the greatest of ease, pointing out things we would never see or know about, telling us what was great value and what we might not want to spend too much time with. The trip covers a lot of territory, both in Australia and New Zealand. You often hear people talk about the trip of a lifetime and this is one of those special trips for sure. After the trip our group all took the extension to Fiji, which was perfect, giving us time to re-charge our batteries for the trip back home. We were so impressed with Go-Ahead that we have planned another trip with them to Africa.

Loved the tour, especially the people we met. Aussies and Kiwis must be among the friendliest people on earth! The optional sunrise balloon ride was one of my favs!

Australia, New Zealand, Fiji fabulous!

Each and every city visited was an experience unto its self. Our guide and drivers new how to tell "the story" of the area and how to present it, so we were intrigued and wanted more! Luke Bonney was excellent in keeping us all on schedule, and yet allowing for individuals or groups to see what was important to them. What a wonderful adventure, everything we wanted and more, as usual, thank you Go Ahead!

Outstanding Tour of Australia & New Zealand

This trip to Australia was absolutely fabulous. At Cairns the Great Barrier Reef was beautiful. Seas a little rough so be prepared in case. At Alice Springs the Outback was fascinating. The baloon ride was outstanding. Uluru, Ayers Rock, was outstanding. Champagne, Orange juice and "biscuits" during a sunset viewing. Aboriginal Dreamtime experience was fascinating.Melbourne is a huge city with fascinating city center. Penguin parade a once in a lifetime experience. Yarra Valley winery tour OK, but, I recommend you spend day touring Melbourne instead. Sydney amazingly beautiful. Visit convict Barracks Museum.Take ferry to Manley bearch. Sycney Harbor Bridge climb exciting but can't take camera. Took helicopter tour of Sydney. Expensive but great. Not a standard optional. South Island of New Zealand was great. Dress for winter (July). Christchurch still recovering from earthquake with buildings still in ruins and being repaired. Dinner with hosts in Ashburton fascinating and enlightening. Queenstown is a ski center and tourist site. Beautiful mountains all around. Trip to Milford Sound long but beautiful scenery. Some sites used in Lord of Rings movies. Milford Sound tour invigorating and abrupt mounainous fjord. In Rotorura go to Te Wairoa geyser site and Maori cultural center and the Rotorura Museum of Art and History. The tour was the trip of a lifetime. Luke Bonney our tour gude was outstanding. He is outgoing, efficient and open to setting up activities not on the regular schedule. Great!

Can't wait to go back!

I had an outstanding time on this trip of a lifetime. I was able to see everything that I wanted to in Australia and New Zealand & have an idea of where I'd like to go back to on my own. Fiji was an awesome, relaxing why to end a the trip. Our TD, Luke, was very knowledgable, friendly, and loves this part of the world. Although the price tag seems high, I did the math and if I were to do this on my own it would be almost 2 times this amount. It is a great value for the price. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent tour and the director was great.

The trip of a lifetime!

We kept asking ourselves which part of this trip was our favorite, and could not come up with just 1 individual part. Each experience was unique,exciting and fun. The people were all very charming. It is very difficult to describe a trip that encompassed visiting areas from the dessert, to the snow, to the islands, to our friends. All I can say is that we have memories to last a lifetime.

Trip of a Lufetime

Without a doubt, the most glorious adventure I've ever been on. I will be traveling with Go Ahead again as soon as possible! I couldn't be happier!

This trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji was fantastic. There is a lot to do and see. It was a challenging trip being on the move constantly but we did get to experience a lot of wonderful things. Our tour guide, Luke, was amazing and I would definitely recommend taking this trip. We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to travel with Go Ahead Tours in the future.
