Nothing to write home about.

I loved Alaska. I enjoyed the the visit to Alaska. I was not impressed with the vacation arrangements. I felt like I could have booked this trip myself. I did a trip with goahead to Ireland in October. I thought that was one of the best trips in my life. This vacation paled in comparison. I don't think I'll book another cruise with goahead. Also not impressed with tour guide. It looked like she was there to do a free vacation and not guide

We are very happy that we went on your Alaska Crui

[A] I think the shore excursions were way over priced. [B] Do you belive Celebrity offered North Atlantic Salmon [frozen] on a cruise to Alaska the source of the best salmon in the world. [C] Four people at our dinner table had steak sunday evening that was not eatable. I asked to speak to the chef and the head waiter came and said "Sorry". the chef should have sent a botttle of wine. [D] I was told to take a taxi to the hotel in seattle since our plane arrive later then most. I was told we woulod get paid for the taxi fare. I asked about a tip and I was told to pay a reasonable tip. I got paid for the taxi fare, but not the tip. several time I was told by our tour director that she would get me the five dollars. It never happened. This leaves a bad taste qabout go ahead!

Alaska Glacier Cruise

We had a wonderful time on our Alaska Glacier Cruise trip. Our experience on Rhapsody of the Seas was excellent. Everyone on the staff was polite, helpful, and friendly. Needless to say, the food was also out of this world, but we had to walk a lot, even on the deck when at sea, to overcome the temptations we succumbed to! Also the range of off-trip excursions offered was very good. Our trip into the Yukon with visit to the Iditarod Dog Camp, and coming back on the White Pass and Yukon Railraod was something we will always remember. Our group was such a pleasure. We would travel with these people again any time!. Last, but definitely not least, was our guide Jo Ann Slate. We have been doing group travel for almost 30 years and she definitely stands out as being one of the very best. She was extremely helpful in being sure that everyone got to see what they wanted to see and knew where to go and what was available not only on the ship, but also on shore. Her unflappable patience, her wit and humor, her management skills, and her ability to converse about many different subjects of interest make her someone we would like to travel with again.

We had a great trip and really enjoyed the relaxing time.

Beautiful Alaska

We enjoyed the Alaska's Glacier Cruise from the convenience of the cruise ship. There was no packing and unpacking since we were in the cruise ship all of the way. The schedule was very easy and you can control the optional excursions so your days are as full or as relaxing as you want them to be. The scenery in Alaska was breath-taking and awe-inspiring. The power and size of the glaciers was unbelievable. Seattle was a pleasant addition to the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Seattle before and after the cruise.
