Make Reservations

Reservation procedures
As you receive reservation forms (at the meeting or in the days following), check to see that they have been completed correctly and signed. Make sure that enclosed checks are made out to Go Ahead Tours and have your name and/or organization’s name on the memo line. Remind travelers that they will receive a confirmation from Go Ahead within three weeks and that they should check the information on their confirmation carefully for accuracy. Urge them to call you with any necessary revisions to their information as soon as they receive the confirmation. If you do get revisions from your travelers regarding their confirmations, please call Go Ahead as soon as possible with these changes.

You can also direct travelers to book online through your personal group tour website and note that they are traveling with your group by clearly indicating your group name and/or group ID number in the online reservation form. Call your Groups Tour Consultant to activate your personal group tour website.

Materials your group members will receive next
As we receive your group members' reservations, we will send them each their own confirmation packet, which includes the following:

• A detailed day-by-day itinerary, including a description of the optional excursions and events available and information on passports and visas (if applicable)
• A confirmation statement and invoice
• A booklet describing our TravelSafe Protection Plan
• "Questions and Answers about Your Vacation" (traveling with Go Ahead)
• A cruise registration form (if applicable)

Booking optional excursions
Group Coordinators whose travelers are pre-purchasing optional excursions should confirm their choices with their Group Tour Consultant by the final payment date. Most optional excursions can also be purchased on tour from your tour director.

You will earn a free space for yourself on any optional excursion(s) that have been pre-purchased (i.e., paid for by the final payment date) subject to the free-space ratio on your tour. No free spaces will be granted for optional excursions purchased on tour.
