Cash Bonus or Discounted Companions
Free Travel
You earn a free place for yourself and a travel companion on any Go Ahead land tour by recruiting your first 12 full-paying travelers. We also offer a generous 10:1 free place ratio on Land & Sea tours. Once you have earned a free place for yourself and/or a companion, you can choose whether to apply the additional travelers you've recruited toward a cash bonus or toward a discount for another travel companion.
Cash bonus
Once you’ve claimed all the free spaces you plan to use, each full-paying traveler above and beyond that number counts toward your cash bonus. Your cash bonus is 5 percent of the tour price (not including taxes, fees, insurance or optional excursions) multiplied by the number of travelers over and above those required for your free spaces. (Please note that you must apply the first 12 travelers toward your and your companion's free places.).
Discounted Companions
You can choose to earn a discount for an additional traveling companion instead of a cash bonus. Beyond the first twelve full-paying travelers, any travelers that you recruit will be applied toward a discount for an additional traveling companion. Using the example above, if you decided to earn a discount for a 3rd traveler instead of taking a cash bonus, your 4th remaining traveler will recieve a 30% discount based on the 3 extra full-paying travelers.
The following chart shows you the percentage to deduct from the tour price* of the traveler you identify to receive the discount. Please note that anyone receiving a full or partial discount is not considered a full-paying traveler.
* The tour price is defined as the price from the Group Coordinator’s airport, based on double occupancy, including all flights but excluding optional excursions, special travel arrangements, taxes and departure fees.
Please note: Group Coordinators are required to pay a deposit that will be applied toward taxes, fees, surcharges and any other optional excursions. Account balances will be reconciled approximately 50 days prior to departure and benefits will be applied based only on travelers paid in full by that date.
