What kind of hotels do you use?
We carefully select our hotels to ensure the best possible experience for your travel dollar. Every hotel that Go Ahead uses is chosen based on location, comfort, cleanliness and local flavor.

In all of our accommodations, you can count on a private bath or shower. Rest assured that all hotel taxes and tips for restaurant service and baggage handling are included in the price of your tour.

Can I choose from a list of hotels to stay in or do you select the hotels?
We will make all hotel arrangements for the group. Your final hotel list will available on your on line account approximately 30 days before you depart.

Do the hotels all have private baths?
All hotels we use have private in-room facilities with a shower or a shower/tub combination.

What are the choices for accommodations (twin, double, single)?
We offer two types of double-occupancy rooms; a twin room (two twin beds) or a double room (one double bed). Single rooms are generally one twin bed. On select tours, we also offer triple occupancy rooms.

Do you have roommate matching?
We do not offer roommate matching on our tours. We do, however, offer a low single supplement on all of our tours that will keep the cost low for those traveling alone. If you are looking for a roommate to keep costs down, try posting on our Community Forums. Simply click Meet Other Travelers - Find Travel Partners/Roommates. Good luck!

I have special meal requirements; can you accommodate me?
Yes. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

Does Go Ahead accommodate physically challenged travelers?
While Go Ahead encourages participation of physically challenged travelers, some itineraries and sites are not accessible by wheelchair or motorized scooter. Please inform your Tour Consultant of any physical disabilities or limitations so that they can help you determine the appropriateness of the itinerary you select. If such limitations cause you to require additional assistance, we ask that you plan to travel with a companion who can provide assistance.

What is the seating capacity on your motor coaches?
Most motor coaches have seating capacity for between 48 and 52 people, however a smaller bus may be used for groups with fewer travelers. Transportation for our Kenya Wildlife Safari will be in a seven-person safari vehicle.

Can I request seat assignments for the motor coach?
In order to ensure that all travelers have the opportunity to fully enjoy the scenery during bus transfers, we ask that our customers rotate seats daily. Seats will not be assigned.

Do your motor coaches feature air-conditioning and restrooms?
Most motor coaches have both air conditioning and restrooms, depending on the destination and size of your group. Please note that in on tours to Russia, Scandinavia, the UK, Ireland, China, Morocco, Kenya, and Egypt, restrooms on the motor coach are rarely provided.
