What a wonderful time you will have. Just returned on the 6th of October. Went with my sisters and we had a great time. I can't say enough about Goahead.  I would encourage you to bring several pairs of the most supportive, comfortable shoes you have. You will do a lot of walking! Alternate your shoes each day. Don't overpack!  You can wash things out .Bring something warm or be prepared if its cold. I would have froze but brought a very warm wrap and it saved me. Take the excursions, they are wonderful especially Capri, Como cruise, Gondola in Venice. All of them are great but did not go to catacombs or the Tarantella, or Dinner with the Tenors. Enjoy!
